Mostafijur Rahman is a globally recognized Bangladesh Dermatological Society Certified Dermatologist with extensive expertise spanning Clinical dermatology, Aesthetic dermatology, Dermatosurgery, Pediatric dermatology, Laser medicine, and Hair transplantation. He holds prestigious qualifications including MBBS, DDV (BSMMU), FCAM, MACP and currently serves as the Chief Consultant at Dermoskin Clinic, Dhaka, Bangladesh.
He is a Dermatologist, Cosmetologist & Aesthetic Medicine Specialist at Mugda Medical College, and is widely respected as a Skin, Hair, Sexual Health, and Cosmetic Medicine Specialist. With over 19 years of clinical and academic experience, Dr. Md. Mostafijur Rahman has played a pivotal role in shaping and advancing aesthetic & cosmetic dermatology practices in Bangladesh and across the region. Today, he is widely regarded as the face of Bangladesh in the international arena of dermatology, representing the country with distinction on global platforms.
Professor Dr. Shamim holds numerous prestigious roles, including Bangladesh Dermatological Society (BDS), American Academy of aesthetic medicine (AAAM), Association of Aesthetic Dermatology, Secretary General of BanglaDerma (Bangladesh–India), and Country Representative of FUE Asia. He is an Executive Committee (EC) Member of the Bangladesh Dermatological Society, and also serves as an Executive and Board Member of SAARC AAD and ADSB.
Beyond academia and clinical practice, he contributes to national healthcare strategy as a Member of the Advisory Panel for the Development of Health Services and the Healthcare Delivery System in Bangladesh, offering expert guidance at the policy level.
An accomplished academic, author, and internationally acclaimed speaker, Professor Dr. Shamim has published over 25 scientific papers, delivered 100+ international presentations, and authored three authoritative books on Clinical Dermatology, Aesthetic Dermatology, and Dermatosurgery. He serves as Editor of the BPMPA Journal and the SAARC AAD Journal, and is a recipient of the prestigious AMWC Award 2019 (Monte Carlo, Monaco).
He is a regular keynote speaker, faculty member, and trainer at leading global conferences and platforms including AMWC, AAD, EADV, Dubai Derma, MEIDAM, FUE Asia, and more, and also serves as Faculty at T-LAB Academy, Turkey.
